Arrest made in Wythenshawe after reports of man wielding knife inside pharmacy

A 41-year-old man was arrested in Wythenshawe today after causing a stir at Thackers Pharmacy, reportedly waving a knife and threatening people. Greater Manchester Police responded to the scene on Altrincham Road around 1pm, with multiple police vehicles spotted by witnesses. The man faces charges for possession of a bladed article, making threats with it in public, and assault.
