Alleged associate of synagogue attacker faces trial

An associate of the Manchester synagogue attacker, Jihad Al-Shamie, named Mr Bashir, is set to face trial. He’s accused of driving Al-Shamie to scout the UK’s Defence Academy for potential hostile reconnaissance. The trial is provisionally scheduled to start on 6 July at Manchester Crown Court.
